Chicken tikka biryani

 

Ingredients:

For Marination:

1. Chicken = 1/2 Kg

2. Yogurt = 1 Cup

3. Ginger and garlic paste = 1-tbsp

4. Lemon juice = 2-tbsp

5. Salt = 1-tsp

6. Red chilli powder = 1-tsp

7. Cumin powder = 1-tsp

8. All spice /garam masala powder = 1-tsp

9. Black pepper powder = 1/2-tsp

10. Red food colour = pinch For it’s Masala:

11. Oil = 1/4 Cup

12. Onion and tomato paste = 1 Cup

13. Ginger and garlic paste = 1-tbsp

14. Yogurt = 1/4 Cup

15. Salt = 1-tsp

16. Red chilli powder = 1 tsp

17. All spice/ garam masala powder = 1 tsp

18. Cumin powder = 1 tsp

19. Turmeric powder = 1/2 tsp

20. Coriander powder = 1 tsp

21. Potatoes = 2 ( cut into cubes)

22. Boiled Rice = 2 Cups

23. Lemon juice = 2 tbsp

24. Orange food colour = few drops

Method:

1. For marination in a bowl add yogurt, ginger and garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, black pepper powder, red colour, mix well add chicken to it.

2. In a grilling pan add 1/4 cup oil and add chicken cook until water is completely dried.

3. In another pot add oil make it gravy add onion and tomato paste in oil add ginger and garlic paste, yogurt, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder,turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, mix well.Add potatoes. 4. Cook until potatoes are fully cooked.

5. Add cooked chicken & boiled rice.

6. Over the rice put lemon juice and few drops of orange food colour.

7. Now close it’s lid and cook on low flame for 15 min and serve!
